Dear Zeus, Hades, and Johosaphate! (yeah, can't spell that ... you'll notice that's a reoccuring theme for me). Have I ever been BUSY. From Wednesday night to last night, I forgot I even had a computer. All I did was run around like a chicken with my head cut off.
Now, 'tis the season, and all that, but I didn't realize what that meant was "'tis the season to run, run, RUN!" I'm sure I sound like I'm complaining (and in a sense, I am because I like my alone time), but I have been having fun so don't let my "tone" fool you.
Since last we met, I have:
Baked four different kind of sweets for my boss.
Went to handbell practice.
Decorated cookies for my boss.
Caught up with the "brother" I adopted in high school.
All but adopted a new "brother".
Reassured my Marie (who has been recently suffering from the dreaded finalitist) that I would ditch the Christmas party early and meet her on time.
Went to the company Christmas party.
Was actually late to meet Marie.
Watched King Kong (don't get me started on it!).
According to office gossip, seduced the youngest employee (because I went to and left the Christmas party the same time he did).
Promised to bake MORE cookies for my spoiled rotten guys (different from "the boys").
Baked two more batches of cookies, two kinds of dip, and a batch of trail mix with my mom.
Went to my sister's Christmas party.
Refrained from being a Grinch at said party.
Met Marie (was late AGAIN!) to play some videon games (yay for nerds!).
Went to church to ring handbells (both services thank you).
Got in trouble for letting my niece come sit with me during the children's service (mostly because her mama was afraid she wouldn't go back into the nursery after that ... but in my defense, she did!).
Went Christmas shopping with my dad (which is enough to kill any person).
Was late (yet again) to meet Marie for another night's festitivities.
*blinks then huffs just remembering everything I've done this weekend* Holy lands alive! I mean, seriously. Are the holidays over yet? Because I think I need a vacation just to recooperate!
